Proofing your press files...

Please ensure that all the details contained within the attached artwork files are correct. While great care is taken by Clear By Design in preparation of your job, only you, the client can ensure it's accuracy.

Here are some tips for proofing:

Firstly, it may be helpful to print a copy of your supplied proof(s). A hard copy is much more tangible than a digital copy. Your files may include a ‘bleed’, for any full-page or page-only jobs there will appear to be an oversized border.

Assume nothing.

Confirm that all corrections from previous proofs, if applicable, have been made.

Give your artwork a 'close' read. Ensure that all the details are correct.

Check that all spelling, grammar and punctuation are to your needs.

Check headlines, captions, and body text for type flow throughout. Make sure italics, bolds, etc. are used where you want them.

Check each image and/or illustration for proper position, cropping, and scaling.

Verify that the finishing elements; such as foil-stamping, die-cutting, embossing, drilling, folds and perforations are properly indicated.
